Om Manchanda is the Managing Director of Dr. Lal PathLabs Ltd. He has successfully led the transformation of Dr. Lal PathLabs in the last 15 years from a small scale business to a professionally-run, listed company.
Dr. Manchanda joined Unilever Group of Companies, now Hindustan Unilever, as a management trainee in 1990. He worked for HUL for nearly 10 years in various positions. In November of 1999, he moved on to Monsanto India Limited, as their National Marketing Manager and thereafter as their National Sales Manager. Dr. Manchanda joined the Global Consumer Healthcare Division at Ranbaxy Laboratory Limited in early 2003, before joining Dr. Lal PathLabs in October 2005. Mr. Manchanda completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, and has nearly 31 years of work experience.
He has been a recipient of prestigious awards including the EY Entrepreneur of the Year (2019) in the Healthcare and Life Sciences category. More recently, he received the Healthcare Personality of the Year-2020 award at the FICCI Healthcare Excellence Awards, organized in September, 2020.
