Ms. Petal Chandhok is a Partner with Trust Legal and is spearheading litigation pertaining to entertainment, music, media laws, healthcare, real estate and infrastructure laws. Apart from being a seasoned legal strategist, she also leads the general corporate advisory practice of the firm. Ms. Chandhok is at the forefront in matters pertaining to copyright infringement with a strong focus on music. She regularly advises Music Labels on their acquisition and licensing of music repertoire. She frequently appears before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts (at Delhi, Karnataka, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Uttarakhand) and other regulatory forums.
She was recognized & mentioned by the Parliament of India, while discussing the applicability of the Surrogacy Bill in the 102nd Report of the Rajya Sabha. She has been mentioned & applauded by Bar and Bench for working tirelessly for Medicover Healthcare’s USD 100 Million investment in India’s IVF Market. She is also a member of Internal Complaints Committee of leading media companies under PoSH.
In addition to her LL.B. degree, Ms. Chandhok also holds a B.A.(Hons.) degree in History and MA in Comparative Religion.
